Coverage & sources
Partadex helps you start with an oil-filter number and find other filters listed for the same vehicle and engine. This is an early, free catalog reference.
What’s included
568 oil-filter numbers across MicroGard, MicroGard Select, WIX, WIX XP, Mobil 1, K&N and Luber-Finer. Vehicle coverage is mainly 2004–2023. Six source-verified Luber-Finer entries add the 1993–1998 Lincoln Mark VIII, 4.6L V8.
Coverage has gaps. A missing result does not mean that a part does not exist or does not fit. Earlier years are limited to those six entries; the catalog does not cover every vehicle between 1993 and 2023.
How cross-references work
A result means two parts appear on the same catalog vehicle-and-engine application. It is a lead to verify, not a universal substitution guarantee. Different production dates, oil coolers, housings or caps can require different filters on the same engine.
Partadex displays the source conditions and filters out known opposing conditions. It does not infer further matches by following chains of related parts. Check the current manufacturer catalog and the actual vehicle before installation.
Sources
- O’Reilly All-Makes Filter Catalog, June 2023 (2023ORCAT). The oil-filter section is PDF pages 6–419; footnotes are PDF pages 3–5. Results label these records as catalog extractions. They have not all been individually checked.
- Luber-Finer 2013 catalog, recorded source pages 305–306. Six Lincoln Mark VIII oil-filter applications were checked against this source and retained as separate supplemental records.
Open “view evidence” on a result to see its vehicle, engine, source document, page and verification status. Page numbers for the 2023 catalog refer to PDF pages, which are one higher than the printed page number.
During release review, 126 source vehicle rows were set aside after finding incorrect manufacturer or model carry and an incomplete record that combined different filter options. They are excluded from public lookup while corrections are checked. Other extraction errors may remain.
Independent project
Partadex is not affiliated with the listed manufacturers or retailers. Brand names identify parts. The project’s MIT software license does not grant rights to third-party catalogs or trademarks. A broader data-rights review remains part of the plan before commercial data distribution.
